District 53 — Pre-launch Announcement

District 53 by Dokdo

District 53 is a Metaverse game made for the Solar (SXP) blockchain.

District 53 has SXP burning features and several other features that could potentially trigger US agencies to believe that SXP might be considered a security.

Due to this fact, District 53 is now fully under control by the Dokdo team and the development will continue by the Dokdo team.

Beta Phase

The beta phase was a huge success.

With more than 120 players joining at once at some point, we are glad to tell you that the beta exceeded our expectations in terms of speed and reliability.

Many people have been participating during the beta phase and we have listened and implemented many suggestions and improvement proposals provided by the community.

Official Launch

We are glad to announce that we are in the final stages of releasing the official version of District 53, version 5.6.1.

Version 5.6.1 will unlock many activities in the Metaverse that will contribute to SXP coin incineration.

Some of these features are:

• Land sales
• Ad displays to generate revenue for land owners
• Trading interface for mining blocks and selling these on the market
• Integration with Xeggex exchange to sell resources directly from D53 for SXP
• Rewards and achievements to earn SXP
• Events and battles where you can earn SXP
• Many more P2E gaming features
• Battles and tournaments to earn SXP
• Skin uploads and sales

If you are using the D53 client with version 3.0.2, you will already be able to use all of these features without upgrading the client.

Land sales

Land sales will be auctioned on our website:

The initial land sale will be hosted on our domain using a traditional method where you can link your game address.

Once you win an auction, your land will be automatically assigned to your in-game wallet address.

You will have the possibility to explore and build on your land without the fear that someone might destroy your property.

Display ad banners to earn rewards from anyone visiting your property or build a farm, mine blocks and sell these resources on Xeggex or in the in-game marketplace.

Place treasures on your land or create chests with a lock to store your resources.

The land is fully yours and you decide what happens.

Once you create value on your land, feel free to sell it directly on the D53 marketplace.

Over the next few days, we will be adding more plots for sale. So make sure to keep an eye on our website.

The virtual land will be converted to NFT’s on the SXP blockchain as soon as it’s possible to create NFT’s.

Until then, we will be manually addressing land owners.

90% of the earnings from initial land sales will be burned on the SXP blockchain.

Other trades on the District 53 platform from user to user will be taxed with 10% of the sale.

Meaning that 90% will go to the seller. 5% will be burned and 2% will go to the Solar Foundation wallet and 3% will go to the Dokdo team.

Partnerships

During the Korean Blockchain Week in Seoul, the team of Dokdo has been talking with several potential partners.

One of these partners is Adshares.

Dokdo will work together with Adshares to display decentralized ads in the District 53 metaverse.

The revenue made from ads placed in the main square will be converted to SXP and burned on the SXP blockchain.

Revenue from ads placed on your own land will be converted to SXP and deposited directly to your own in-game wallet address.

Please note that the more famous your land becomes or the closer you are to the main square, the more you will earn from ad revenue.
